Capital Improvement Campaign

Here at the Church of Christ of Folsom, we believe in the transformative power of prayer, art and education. If you are not familiar with us, we are a small congregation in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Our commitment is to serve the community through Christ’s love. We are blessed with a beautiful property that is used by several groups in the area.

Our education building, built in 1956, was the home of a day care for over 20 years and has recently changed ownership to a new Non-Profit Preschool. Our education building also houses our Sunday School classrooms, church office and Small Group Room. Our fellowship hall is rented out by the community for wedding and baby showers, graduations and birthday parties. We have art classes and birthday parties hosted by Michelle's Art Pad, and lessons in martial arts offered by Goals Martial Arts. There has been a community NA group that has been meeting in our building for 36 years. As a congregation we host free Community Breakfasts and Lunches as well as have a Free Food Pantry & Little Library for anyone in need. Our building also hosts a small Spanish congregation, Iglesia Voz De Dios, that doesn’t have a building of it’s own to call home.

As you can imagine, with this much activity in the building, maintenance and improvements are costly and it is time for us to jump in and do some upgrades. We are reaching out to you in the hopes that you will be able to help us in our efforts to raise funds during our Capital Improvement Campaign. We are excited to announce our mission to raise $100,000 for essential improvements to our education building that will create a safe nurturing environment for quality spiritual and preschool education as well as community engagement. If you were to look at our congregation, you would think we were much too small to have such a large goal; however, we feel certain that God is able to provide all that we need and more.
